Internal visualization of the uterine cavity (womb), with the help of a telescope. It is the endoscopic visualization of the abdominal cavity, under anesthesia with the help of the telescope.
It can be, diagnostic as well, therapeutic. Myomectomy is the surgical removal of the fibroid.

  • Can be done Laparoscopically or Hysteroscopically, or open surgery depending on its location, size.
  • Usually, requires, one-day hospital stays and can resume work between 4-7 days after the surgery depending on the size, no., extent of the fibroid.

 

Indications:
Proximal unilateral or bilateral Tubal block.

 

How is it done?
Under general anesthesia, under hysteroscopic guidance, with a specially designed wire. The laparoscopy is done adjuvantly to check the patency after cannulation.

 

How long does it take?
Usually 45 min to 1.30 hr, depending on the case.

  • Endometriotic.
  • Complex.

How is it done?
Under general anesthesia, under hysteroscopic guidance. The laparoscopy is done simultaneously to rule out the bicornuate uterus.
